Medical explainers, checked before they ship.
Explainer films for medtech, diagnostics, textile, pharma-adjacent and clinic brands. Every claim sourced, the script signed off by you, and a review round for your medical or regulatory team.
Five jobs a medical film can do for you.
Each one names the closest film we have made. Where that film is not a medical one, we say so.
HealthPatient education
What a test, a diagnosis or a procedure means, told in the order patients ask about it. For waiting rooms, aftercare emails and your website.
Closest film: The three-month blood sugar test, a patient film on one confusing lab result.

BiologyMechanism of action
How your drug, device or ingredient works in the body, drawn one step at a time, at the depth your audience needs.
Closest film: How vaccines train your immune system. Antigen, antibody, memory cell.

Format sampleProduct effectiveness
Treated against untreated, side by side: an antimicrobial fabric next to the same fabric without the finish, for example. The results on screen are yours, from your own test reports, shown as reported.
Not a medical film. Compound interest shows the format: two outcomes built up a step at a time, so the difference is visible.

Format sampleSales rep training
One film per product, so every rep explains it the same way: how it works, who it is for, and what it does not claim.
Not a medical film. The refrigerator film shows the format: a device as a cutaway, each part labelling itself as the narration reaches it.

Conference and booth loops
A silent cut of your main film for the screen on your stand. No separate sample yet: it is cut from the film you approve.
How it's made: from the same approved script, so the booth says exactly what the film says.
Nothing is drawn until the words are approved.
Four steps on every medical or science film. The order matters: checking happens on paper, where changes are cheap.
- Step 1
Every claim sourced.
Each line of the script carries its source: your approved claims, your labelling, a published guideline or a peer reviewed paper. A line we can't source is cut or sent back to you.
- Step 2
Script sign-off first.
You approve the words, the order and the sources before any animation starts. Nothing reaches the screen that you haven't read.
- Step 3
A review round for your team.
Your medical or regulatory reviewers see the script and the finished cut, with the source list beside it, and mark what has to change.
- Step 4
No invented statistics.
Every number on screen comes from a source you can open. If we can't point to it, it isn't in the film. We don't round a result up or add one for effect.
Studios plan in months. We plan in days of work.
Either way the script comes first. Here is where the time goes.
About a month per minute of animation
One of the best known medical animation studios publishes its own timeline:
- About two weeksto write the script, when they write it
- About thirty daysof production for each minute of animation, with client reviews built in
Source: Nucleus Medical Media, How long it takes to create custom medical illustrations or animation.
Script first, then days of work
A smaller studio, with a smaller scope per film:
- Script and sourceswritten first and signed off by you before anything is drawn
- A few working daysto build a one minute film once the script is approved
- Your review roundmoves at your team's pace, and is usually most of the calendar
We give you a date once we've seen your sources and know who signs off, not before.
One approved script, every version you need.
Each version is cut from the same approved words, so nothing new slips in along the way.

Questions medical teams ask first.
Who checks the science?+
We source every claim, show you where each one comes from and flag anything we couldn't confirm. We are not clinicians, so the medical sign-off belongs to your team: once on the script, and again on the finished cut.
What do you need from us?+
Your approved claims or product labelling, the papers or guidelines you rely on, the markets the film will play in, and the name of the person who signs off. Brand files help. If you don't have a claims document, we'll draft one from your published material for you to confirm.
How do revisions work?+
Most changes happen on the script, before anything is animated. After your team reviews the cut, we fix anything that doesn't match the approved script or that your reviewers mark as inaccurate. A new claim after sign-off goes back to the script step, so it is sourced and approved like the rest.
Can the film show our test results?+
Yes, if they are your own reported results and your team approves the wording. We show them as reported, with the test named on screen or in the source list.
Will the film be compliant in my market?+
Your regulatory team decides that, and we don't give regulatory advice. The review round is there for exactly this, and we keep a record of every source and every approved change.
Do you use AI?+
Yes, for some parts, and we'll tell you which before we start. A film may use a generated voice, generated music or generated background images. The script, the sources and the animation are done by hand, and every fact is checked by a person.
Send us the idea your customers find hardest.
We'll reply with how we'd explain it, what we need from your team and a quote. No call needed unless you want one.
